Accessing the Service
In order to access FIRST, you must attend a drop-in clinic for assessment. Drop-in clinics are run by various drug and alcohol services in Fife who work together to ensure you are given the most appropriate support.
A full list of drop-in clinics can be found at www.fassaction.org.uk.

What happens at a drop-in clinic?
When you attend a drop-in, you will be assessed by a worker on a one-to-one basis. This assessment should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The worker carrying out the assessment will advise you on the most appropriate service for your support needs and with your permission will refer you.

What happens when we receive your referral?
You referral will be discussed by the Senior Staff at our weekly Allocations Meeting. If you are allocated a Rehabilitation Worker they will be in touch with you within a few days.
If you are already working with another drug and alcohol service in Fife you will not need to attend a drop-in clinic. Please contact us on 01592 585960 to access FIRST.
